A visit of C class to the Port of our city

We set out from school in the morning. Everyone was happy. It took us a
short time to reach the port. Everything was of a large scale there.
Big buildings and big ships that made us imagine all sorts of things about them.
We got off the bus and walked on the pier where we saw

4 tugboats, 2 commercial, 1 car-ferry and a boat used as a bar.

We also saw the speedboats of the Port and admired their equipment.
The cranes on the right side of the Port being like huge hands and the
gulls that flew above our heads welcomed us and suggested us to travel in
far away places.
We looked at the sea and our city for a long time. It was really beautiful.
However two things made us really sad:
a)The rubbish we saw in the sea and
b)The rain that poured down suddenly and made us enter the Passengers’ Room in the Port.
Anyway it was a good chance to eat our snack because the time was over
and we were simply starving!
Finally the rain stopped and we went for a walk on the pier and watched
the boats, which travel to Cyclades and Dodecanese everybody singing
the song ‘Grandfather Ali’ from Lilipoupoli.
