Eleftherio-Kordelio 5-3-2003

Mr Prime Minister,

We, the children of the Third class, 4th Primary School of Eleftherio-Kordelio in Thessaloniki, have decided to send this letter to you and ask you (even as a chairman of E. U.) to help so that war doesn’t break out in Iraq because it will be destructive.A lot of people lose their life and others abandon their places and become refugees in other countries. There isn’t enough food for everybody and there is lack of medicine. Children die and the atmosphere becomes polluted with destructive consequences for human beings.

In case of war, happiness will become sorrow.

All the things that children dream will become a nightmare!!!

People were born in order to live, not to die.

We only ask for PEACE!!!

Peace has everything. It has life, joy and happiness. People don’t get killed, the children have food to eat and they go to school and play happily. The rivers and the sea are not polluted. The nature isn’t destroyed and the atmosphere isn’t filled with radioactive substances.

WE ONLY ASK FOR PEACE!!!

The world will be different…

It will be cheerful!!!

Please, stop this war.

Thank you in advance for reading this letter and we are sure that you will do your best to prevent this war.
